Manual Lymph Drainage in Eugene

Valerie Ford,  LMT, CLT

HEALING IS WHY I DO THIS.

There is nothing quite like participating in the change that happens during bodywork.  Whether you are coming to massage for stress and pain relief, to assist in healing from an injury or surgery,  or to manage a chronic problem like lymphedema, I'm excited to be part of your good health.

Every massage and therapeutic session I give is tailored to what you and your body are telling me today.   You and I will co-create a session that is right for your body and includes massage in styles ranging from very intense deep tissue work inspired by Thai and trigger point therapy  to the very relieving but less intense MLD or energy work in the forms of accupressure and therapeutic touch.   Helping you feel more ready for your life is a calling for me.

Valerie is a graduate of Lane Community College's massage program and has completed the Norton School's Certified Lymphedema Therapist course of study  (135 hours of extensive training in manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive therapy).  She is studying traditional Thai massage and healing therapies at the Naga Center and is certified as a Pilates instructor with Balanced Body Pilates.
